# Keyboard shortcuts

> Every console shortcut. The command bar, search, going to any page with g, moving through lists, and the rules (Tab, Enter, Escape, arrows) every page follows.

## Anywhere

## Lists (every table)

On an incident: `u` goes back to the list.

## How every page behaves

* **Tab** reaches every control, in reading order, with a visible focus ring.
* **Enter** submits a form; **Escape** cancels or closes (a dialog, a menu, a help crumb, an edit).
* **Arrow keys** move inside a group: tabs, segmented choices, cards to choose from, menus.
* Focus moves to the field that needs you (a code to type, a name to give).
* A key never fires while you're typing (except `Esc` and `⌘K`) or while a dialog is open.
