# Your account and appearance

> Your profile, role and teams, chat handles, time zone, your own look (theme, accent, density, motion), and signing out.

3AM is an on-prem AI on-call engineer for regulated enterprises (https://3am.si).

**Your account** (`/account`, from your menu, top right):

| Part             | What                                                                                    |
| ---------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Who you are      | Your e-mail, role and teams; **What you can do** in plain words                         |
| Name and handles | Your name, and how approval channels reach you (`chat`, `pager`, `phone`). `PUT /v1/me` |
| Time zone        | UTC (default), local, or any IANA zone. Display only: the server always speaks UTC      |
| Sign out         | Ends this session                                                                       |

**Appearance** (`/appearance`): your own theme, accent, corners, density and motion, kept in your browser and laid
over your organisation's [branding](https://docs.3am.si/console/branding). Nobody else sees it.

Sessions end after 12 hours idle or 7 days, at sign-out, or when your role changes.
